Strategic Objective 1 – Provide high quality services to meet the needs and safety of the citizens served by the county and city governments
Focus Area 1 – Develop and implement a survey to obtain feedback from citizens regarding city/county services
Strategic Objective 2 – Explore and improve the effectiveness and efficiency with which we spend tax dollars
Focus Area 1 – Conduct a public forum to create awareness of how tax dollars are generated and spent and obtain input on ideas for improvement
Strategic Objective 3 – Further develop partnerships and strong working relationships within county and city governments and with community groups to enhance service delivery capability
Focus Area 1 – Show interest in and be responsive to Community Groups, provide services wherever possible; encourage Community Groups to share success stories
Focus Area 2 – Broaden involvement of local government officials in community leadership initiatives
