Sedalia School District #200 Board of Education meetings are normally held at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday’s of each month. For more information about the meetings, feel free to call 829-6450 during regular business hours or stop by our office at 2806 Matthew Dr. The agenda will be posted on the window for your reference.
• Serve on the School Board.
Qualified applicants for the Board may file for office beginning at 8:00 am in the Superintendent's office commencing on the fifteenth Tuesday prior to the election and ending at 5:00 p.m. on the eleventh Tuesday before the election. The candidate shall declare his/her intent to become a candidate, in person and in writing to the secretary of the Board of Education.
• Help Keep Education a Priority by purchasing "Helping Schools" license plates.
Show your support for education every time you venture out in your vehicle. The "Helping Schools" license plate is available to all alumni, students, parent and friends who have registered Missouri vehicles. By purchasing the "Helping Schools" license plates, you also help financially support the Sedalia School District Foundation, Inc. You can order your plates anytime, regardless of your current plate's expiration date. These plates expire annually, (or biannually if you have a two-year registration) in the month they are purchased.

• Mentor elementary students in our community.
Meet with the kids at the school for one hour each week for "one-to-one" time. Build positive relationships through listening, talking, reading, playing games, helping with homework, etc.

• Volunteer to help adult learners at State Fair Community College.
Volunteer at State Fair Community College to help adult learners who want to improve their reading, writing, and math skills or assist GED students who are studying to take the General Educational Development exam that is equivalent to a high school diploma. Or help others enrich their culturally diverse citizenry through interactive classroom instruction, one-on-one literacy level tutoring, and a celebration of cultural diversity and exploration. Help others improve their ability to speak, read, and write the English language The SFCC ESL Class is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.
