 •  Get out and involved with local recreational opportunities and activities offered through the Sedalia Parks and Recreation Department.

• Become a docent or come take a tour of the Sedalia's Katy Depot.  Call 660-826-2932 x18 for details.

• Attend or act in a play at the Liberty Center for the Arts, 111 W. 5th Street.

• Attend a production by the Sedalia Symphony

Tickets are available at Sedalia's Katy Depot located at 600 East Third Street Sedalia, Missouri.  Season Tickets include all concerts EXCEPT the Xmas Pops.  Season tickets --$25 general and $20 for Seniors.  All concerts are at the Smith-Cotton Auditorium EXCEPT the Xmas Pops is at First United Methodist Church - Celebration Center.  Concerts start at 7:30 pm.

• Attend or volunteer at the 2009 Scott Joplin Festival June 3-7

• Attend the 2009 Missouri State Fair August 13 - 23

• Bike the Katy Trail

• Tour Sedalia's Sculpture in the Park project

• Become a docent or come take a tour of the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art on the State Fair Community College Campus

• Attend a play at a local school
